Pedantry: splashdown is a noun. Splash down is a verb. I think you wanted the latter in your post. Same holds true with setup versus set up .

A bsolutely love that they have chase boats hotshoeing right at it even before the capsule hits the water. “Hotshoeing” is a verb if folks want to argue about that instead of splashy splashy .
